Our Mission
Mt Carmel Methodist Church is here to glorify God. We will do this by helping the lost be reconciled to Jesus Christ and spreading the Gospel throughout the world. We are committed to helping the widows, assisting the elderly, and feeding the hungry. We are also dedicated in helping the family (men, women, girls, and boys) increase in their faith and rise up to take their rightful place in the Kingdom of God. By teaching the saved to become disciples that are equipped and devoted to the great commission of Jesus Christ. To determine our place in the move of the Kingdom of God.
Our Vision
- Everyone feels welcomed, loved, and valued. We will encourage everyone to move forward in following Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
- We will walk by faith and not by sight, by being a part of evangelizing our community.
- Together we will discover, sharpen, and apply our God given gifts and callings. We will accomplish this by working in the ministry.
Our Three-fold Purpose
Up Reach - We believe that bringing God glory is our highest calling. Our relationship with Him is our highest priority. That all of our ministry will flow out of our relationship with God.
In Reach - As members of this family, we will help equip one another for service and grow to spiritual maturity. Therefore we will be trained according to the Holy Bible. We believe this to be our owner's manual for our lives.
Outreach -Our heart's desire is to go beyond the four walls of the church to serve the people. Thus enlarging the Kingdom of God through evangelism. We believe that God has given the believer the ministry of reconciliation, in which we can impact nations for Christ.
